"We do it for the kids" ~ Kiwanis

We wish to express our sincere gratitude to the Kiwanis Club of Carefree.  We are very thankful to receive your 2024 grant funding which covers the cost of our two A-Z Activity Books. These A-Z Activity Books are given to PreK, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade classes. These books further our mission to encourage reading and promote literacy in our community. THANK YOU for all you do for kids!!

Join the delightful miniature horses and donkeys of Tender Little Hearts Mini Tales:
Dolly, Mazy, Buddy, Boone and Josie.

These little equines will assist with learning the alphabet through 53 equine-themed letter trace and color pages. Plus, enjoy 15 additional fun and educational bonus pages with mazes, connect-the-dots and more!   We now have 2 books available, one recommended for ages 4-5 and one recommended for ages 6-7

We wish to thank you to the Scottsdale Charros Foundation for their 2025 educational grant which will help support our literacy programs to Scottsdale Elementary Schools and the Civic Center Library.

Formed in 1961, the Scottsdale Charros are an all-volunteer, nonprofit group of business and civic leaders that help build our community by supporting youth, sports, education, and charitable causes. From their very beginning, the Charros – meaning gentlemen riders – embodied the City of Scottsdale’s slogan, “The West’s Most Western Town.” Today, the Scottsdale Charros remain an all-volunteer, nonprofit group who raise funds to support the Scottsdale community. Most of these funds are raised through Spring Training Baseball which the Charros have hosted in Scottsdale Stadium for more than 60 years. The Charro Foundation was formed in 1985 to support the Charros’ mission through expanded partnerships and collaboration with Scottsdale-area community organizations.

Cave Creek Lowe's Home Improvement

Buddy gave us a big scare with his change in breathing. We immediately booked an appointment and took him to Midwestern University to be scoped as we knew he has a collapsed trachea, just not how bad it is. They scoped 60 cm and confirmed he is collapsed all the way to his chest.

So many factors could have brought this change in breathing… the collapse increasing, irritants of smoke from fires, area dust, hay dust, our heat… basically, we need to keep him
cool, A resident who works at the Cave Creek Lowe’s store saw my request, talked to her manager, and they donated a swamp cooler they had on clearance for his stall.

Thank you just doesn’t seem like enough to express our gratitude!! Cave Creek Lowe's Home Improvement, THANK YOU for supporting our 501c3 and especially your kindness for this special little horse!
